More Than Just Designers.
Meet the team behind QDS.
When you work with us, you work directly with the people designing your project. Our Malaga-based building designers and documentation specialists bring extensive commercial and industrial experience, handling everything from concept and council approvals to working drawings. Our portfolio spans tilt-up warehouses, offices and showrooms, alongside shopping centres, cafés, veterinary hospitals and community buildings. Whatever the project, we design buildings that work as well on site as they do on paper and you’ll always know who to call.
Director
Mike BLUNTISH
Mike founded QDS in 2013 and has 24 years of industry experience, starting as a shop detailer before moving into design. As an Accredited Building Designer with Design Matters National, he specialises in industrial and commercial projects, especially owner-occupier builds with complex operational needs. Outside work he enjoys surfing, golf, camping and mountain biking.

JENNY KANNIS
Jenny has more than 10 years of residential experience and over two years in industrial and commercial work. Jenny has been with QDS for two years and is a skilled ArchiCAD user, she is currently studying her Masters at UWA and particularly enjoys designing elevations and facades. Away from the desk, she loves walking her dog, going to the beach, trying new places to eat and acrylic paint pouring.
Graduate of Architecture
UZAIR RASHID
Uzair holds a Master of Architecture and brings international and Australian experience across warehouses, office fitouts and residential projects. Uzair has a strong eye for detailed documentation and has always been fascinated by how a few lines on paper become a real building. Outside the office, he plays soccer and enjoys swimming and tennis.
